🎃 Fruitville Grove Annual Pumpkin Festival
This is the 31st Fruitville Grove Annual Pumpkin Festival. Aside from the festival activities, there’s a Farmer’s Market and Pumpkin Palace to visit.
The market is open Monday – Saturday 9 AM – 6 PM and Sunday from 10 AM – 4 PM.
Festival Dates: Every weekend of October from 10 AM – 5 PM.

👻 Ghosts & Gruesomes Walking Tour
Explore the darker side of Sarasota while listening to stories about paranormal activity, historic murders, and other haunting tales. The tour is about 75-minutes long and books quickly for October.
Tours are planned and hosted by Sarasota Suncoast Tours. Each tour must have 4 participants to proceed, but we understand that this is not a problem during the busy Halloween season.

🦇 Haunted Trails, House & Trick or Treat
Even though this event is 11 miles from Sarasota, we’re including it in our list because it’s incredible! Oscar Scherer State Park is hosting the 7th Annual Haunted Trails event on Friday, October 25th and Saturday, October 26th.

Trick or Treat vendors have their own designs and themes to make things extra fun for everyone involved.
Admission price to the event includes the park entrance fee. Admission is $5 – $10 depending on age. Free admission for children under 5.
🧛♀️ Fright Night on St. Armands
For the young and young at heart, Fright Night on St. Armands promises to be a treat with plenty of frights along the way. It typically takes place on October 31st from 6 PM – 8:30 PM.
There’s trick-or-treating around the Circle, scary characters, and a traditional performance to the song “Thriller” by local talent.

Halloween isn’t just for people! Let your beloved family pet in on some of the fun this year at the Bark-O-Ween Dog Costume Contest.
The event takes place October 29th at 5:30 PM, but you must be registered by October 25th. Prize categories vary but have included Funniest Costume, Most Creative, Judges Choice, and Best Overall.
Dogs in costume will get to participate in the parade and have a chance to win prizes. RSVP HERE!
